The Outsourced Accountant’s debut roadshow kicked off this morning in Melbourne with a great turnout on the number of attendees. Our guests in the breakfast sessions were super keen to hear how they could supercharge their productivity and grow capacity in their firms. Most are looking to learn deep insights on best practices to start an offshore team or how to increase profit via bookkeeping accounting services. CEO Nick Sinclair addressed all these and more with the following topics discussed below.
- The vital case for outsourcing
- Leading insights into outsourcing
- How to build a profitable Bookkeeping and SMSF divisions
- Doubling your profit and supercharging firm efficiency
- How to leverage workflow technology to manage an offshore team
- Commonly outsourced tasks
- Real success stories
Highlights from the key session with Nick Sinclair:
“With global technology, mobile efficiency, and transparency, clients have an expectation (from firms) of always being available. How do you manage this? We’re working with firms who are speaking about running 24-hour firms with a global workforce, three shifts per day.
“Outsourcing allows you to get the right tasks out to the right people, for the right type of work.
“Offshoring is not a quick fix, it’s a long term strategy – a play to ensure you have a resource plan to support your firm’s growth.
“A lot of the time, outsourcing is seen as a tool to save on costs – it’s really about delivering more.
“Accounting firms who are bringing in bookkeeping services in their own firm are seeing 25-75% increase in their margins. The key point here is turning the customer conversation from an annual event to a more regular valuable conversation, on working with the given data to provide more real support to the customer and be the trusted advisor.
One-on-one consultations with our TOA executive team and relationship managers followed to further discuss the first-hand experience on offshoring.
