TOA Global Donates Brand New Computers To Tuloy Foundation
Spearheaded by Kerrie Brown, Chief of People, and Ethel Pelayo, Executive Assistant, the event took place at the Tuloy Foundation facility in Angeles City. The 5 computer sets came just in time for the young students as they are gearing up for the Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency (ALS A&E) Test in October 2017.
“Salamat sa assistance ngayon makakapag aral na ng maayos ang mga bata,” (Thanks for the assistance. The children will now be able to study more conveniently.) These were the words of gratitude from the people at the Tuloy Foundation.
Established in 1993 by Fr. Marciano “Rocky” G. Evangelista of the Salesians of Don Bosco, Tuloy Foundation is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation committed to helping poor, abandoned, and homeless children.
By partnering with Tuloy, TOA Global is taking one of the first steps in contributing to the health and welfare of Filipino communities. Through this endeavor, our company is able to create meaningful and ongoing partnerships that also support personal and economic welfare of local residents.
Providing computers was the first of many endeavors TOA Global has in store for the foundation. Through the efforts of our clients and team members, we plan to provide cash donations; TOA Global is slated to donate P100,000 this year and plans to continue financial support in 2018.
Next in line would be computer tutorials courtesy of TOA volunteers. This should help empower eager little kids by teaching them technical skills and help ready them for the future.
We are committed to making a difference in the communities we operate in and activities like this help us support and strengthen the lifeblood of where we live and work.
