Online accounting software Reckon announced its partnership with ANZ, the third largest bank in Australia last 21 July to further strengthen its BankData offering.
The software provider added ANZ to its list of major Australian Bank partners as part of their BankData ecosystem for Reckon, enhancing automation and tracking in their already powerful BankData application.
Through BankData, Reckon users have the ability to split different transactions into different accounts. Moving from a paper-based process, Reckon said its integration with ANZ will allow users to streamline their bank reconciliation process and eliminate manual data entry. Now, Reckon clients banking with ANZ can apply for Reckon BankData online by simply logging into their ANZ account.
“Not only will this improve the onboarding experience for ANZ Bank customers, but it also completely cuts out the previous paper-based process,” Sam Allert, managing director, Australian and New Zealand for Reckon said.
With the online integration of Reckon and ANZ Bank, Reckon One, Reckon Accounts, and Reckon Hosted users can sign up for BankData for all ANZ cheques and savings bank accounts and Business One Credit Card accounts.
“We will continue to work with ANZ Bank to roll out a direct feed from non-business credit card accounts. We’re also focusing on rolling out this facility with other banks,” Allert added.
According to Reckon’s media release, ANZ Bank customers using Reckon One simply need to purchase the Reckon One BankData module (from just $3 per month) when they sign up for Reckon One and then log-in directly to their ANZ Bank account through the ANZ website and add the feed.
