Chief Executive Officer
Nick is an entrepreneur who has been working in the financial services industry since 2000. He was one of the youngest financial advisers to start providing financial advice at the tender age of 20. Due to his success, he was nominated and became a finalist in the Australian Financial Advisers (AFA) Adviser of the Year Awards in 2010 and 2011. He has sat on several boards and committee’s, the most recent being the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) as the Learning Director for APAC (2016/2017) as well as the EO Brisbane board as the learning chair for 2014-2015, after being the forum chair for 2013-2014.
In 2013, Nick was part of the founding team who created My Cloud People in the Philippines to assist Australian and New Zealand SMEs in growing their businesses by outsourcing process orientated work, to deliver more services at a faster speed to their clients. It was re-branded as The Outsourced Accountant (TOA) in 2014, having accounting firms globally as its primary target market.
Chief Operating Officer
Ben has been working in senior sales and management roles with large corporate companies for over 15 years. His vast experience in growing sales teams, client relationship management, training and natural marketing ability makes him a great fit for the future growth of TOA.
He is extremely passionate about delivering great outcomes and exceptional service standards to every client that we work with. He believes that building a great team comes from constant development, coaching, mentoring and open collaboration at all times.
Chief Marketing Officer
Ross is a highly experienced business leader who has helped to grow some of the most successful brands in Asia Pacific over the last 15 years.
Working with startups through to large corporate companies across Australia, New Zealand and Asia, he brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing, business strategy and team development to TOA.
With a focus in strategy, building high performing teams and having run a digital marketing agency he is passionate about developing the TOA brand. He will take a keen interest in supporting our customers with insights that will also help lead them to success.
Chief of Finance
Grant is an experienced CFO whose career started in public practice accounting progressing to Big 4 chartered firms and corporations then SME’s. Grant has proven success with start-ups, established and growth companies, plus more than 16 years of experience in performance and process improvement, defining strategic direction, IPO’s/ASX listing, M&A, systems implementation & review and audit– while being hands on.
Working in various industries including Accounting (public & chartered) and Financial Services has given Grant strong analytical and problem solving skills in strategy, finance, change and multi-site management. Reporting to and working with CEO’s, MD’s, Company Owners and Boards, Grant is recognised for his integrity, commitment, business acumen, financial skills and ability to develop and transform finance departments.
Chief of Sales
Hayley’s commercial career began in 2001 and she has over 14 years of extensive experience in executive leadership roles that focus on people, revenue generation, profitability, sales and operations in highly competitive markets.
Her key strength is in the leadership of people. Leadership that creates and drives strategic business growth. Her ability to create a vision for a business, motivate a team around that vision and then respond rapidly to fluid market conditions has ensured transformational change in people, products and processes.
Chief of People
Kerri is an experienced HR professional with proven expertise on people, performance, culture, change, and communication. Highly resilient, strategic, and commercially astute with experience in delivering people solutions across a range of industries, Kerri strives on developing and implementing people strategies that meet best practice standards.
Prior to joining TOA, Kerri has worked with one of Australia’s leading fintech companies gaining significant amount of achievement including a win in the Anthill Cool Company Awards by having high employee engagement score. Using a mix of thought leadership, multi-channel internal communications, and strong employer brand, Kerrie is expected to continue the growth of TOA’s strong talent pool with a clear goal in enhancing culture, driving engagement, and delivering awesome people experience.
Aside from being the Country Manager, Alex also serves as the Chief of IT and Facilities at The Outsourced Accountant.
Equipped with more than 26 years of experience in IT and business operations, Alex has held senior roles across several industries including manufacturing, food, education, and finance, both in the Philippines and in Hong Kong.
Alex’s strengths lie in IT Project management and network infrastructure, in customer delivery and support, and facilities management.
With his new role, The Outsourced Accountant looks forward to Alex continuing to deliver and innovate, through his expertise in technology, management, and relationship building.
Head of People Operations
A passionate leader and manager, Janette knows how to deliver results. She has handled various high-impact projects on various HR-related topics and acquired a highly comprehensive experience in the following: HR Management, Development and Administration covering Recruitment, Employee Engagement and Movement, Labor and Employee Relations, Performance Management and Competency Assessment System (ISO Certified), Training and Organisation Development (ISO Certified), Compensation and Benefits Strategic Design and Planning, Labor Standards and Human Resources Information System Development.
Equipped with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Economics and her extensive experience, Janette has successfully helped train team members to become effective HR practitioners.
Head of Talent
Reah has a great background in managing teams and the entire recruitment process end to end. She knows how to maximise all resources, recruitment tools and channels available. She’s been across talent acquisition process in social media, job boards, career advertisements and other recruitment marketing media to hire the most qualified candidates.
Reah has been able to develop strong strategies to attract the best candidates and maintain solid relationships with top universities and colleges to recruit the best graduates.
Salvador Niño Velasco III
Head of Training
Niño studied from University of the Philippines, Major in English. He was an exchange scholar in Japan and studied Japanese language, culture and politics. With 14 years of BPO experience and he specializes in Communication, Process and Leadership and Development training programs.
He also attended TNA, Six Sigma and ISO training programs.
Head of Client Experience
Judith holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a major in Finance and Management Accounting from Holy Angel University.
She has 10 years of BPO Industry experience prior to joining The Outsourced Accountant managing leaders in various lines of businesses such as sales, customer service, billing and technical support. Among the BPO accounts she handled in the past were affiliated with a well-known computer company, telecommunications companies, huge cable company and banks. Her expertise are in coaching, mentoring potential leaders, maintaining great business relationships with clients. She is very passionate about bringing out the best in people and honing potential leaders in the organisation she manages.
Judith has been part of TOA since day one and is responsible in managing a team of Client Experience Managers, providing high level of productivity and efficiency to achieve or exceed department KPIs, proactive analysis and monitoring of team issues and risks, creating efficiencies in processes and systems to enable the achievement of business objectives.
Head of CRM and Events
Roann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a major in Marketing, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, both from Angeles University Foundation. Equipped with ten years of work experience, her expertise lies in the field of marketing and business development/sales.
Prior to joining TOA, Roann has worked as a Marketing Manager for an international business company where she has led and coordinated marketing efforts including international affairs, community relations, public relations, advertising, protocol management, and events. She has also ensured effective brand strategy and marketing communications for the company, met marketing and sales financial objectives, targeted leads, and identified marketing opportunities in order to develop the right strategies.
Rachell Grace Olavides
Head of Content
Rachell has over 16 years of experience working for major international and local brands, creative agencies, institutions and television networks, delivering strong marketing content solutions. Her expertise lies in creative concepts and executions across the areas of copywriting, content and email marketing, social media management, and video production —all with an aim to achieve marketing goals and deliver real ROI.
Rachell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Films and Audio Visual Communication degree from the University of the Philippines and a Master’s Degree in Literary and Cultural Studies from Ateneo De Manila University.
Head of Finance
Coreen, a CPA, has 12 years of experience in accounting, finance, and management working at global companies with operations in the Philippines and in the US, UK and Australia as well.
With her strong accounting background and extensive knowledge in finance, Coreen has held senior roles and has successfully gained management expertise across industries including construction, manufacturing, consulting, and telecommunications.
Head of Information Technology
Lawrence graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from System Plus College Foundation.
He has more than 15 years of experience in a wide range of IT Industry, He was able to explore the world of IT through continuous learning. He started as an IT Customer Care Consultant at America Online (AOL Philippines) and was promoted as POC for Federal Trade Commission (FTC). He was also part of Clark Aviation as an IT Assistant Supervisor. Lawrence joined Truebioelectric as an IT Head at The Fort, Taguig.
Due to his passion and desire for learning he studied software development and became a Project Manager in Prechart Software, Inc, and through his hard work and determination he received a lot of recognition such as 35 times Employee of the Month to name a few.
Head of Admin & Facilities
With more than 16 years of experience in the customer and call center industry, Edwin has specialised in the following areas: project development, process coordination, operations management, training, account monitoring and admin/facilities.
His strong leadership and analytical skills have helped him lead successful campaigns. Edwin has also trained agents, team leaders and managers on best practices and played a vital role in strengthening their careers.
A graduate of the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Edwin has acquired an expertise in managing overall operations as well as developing teams and processes that support client programs.
